my name is madison nguyen, and i was born and raised in rochester, new york. i attended college at the fashion institute of technology in new york city, where i graduated with my bachelor’s degree in fashion business management and a minor in creative entrepreneurship. i’ve worked as a stylist and a visual merchandiser.
i have had an entrepreneurial spirit since i was very young, when i “sold” anything from cleaning services to sewing lessons, at my makeshift coffee table storefront in the living room, better known as “maddy’s store.” alongside my passion for business, i’ve loved fashion for as long as i can remember. as i grew up, and especially after studying at the fashion institute, i realized the dramatic toll the fashion industry was taking on our planet. i began to ask myself how to become a conscious consumer in my daily life, which is what led me to create madison styles.
trend forecasting the ever-evolving fashion landscape is one of my favorite endeavors, especially after taking a class on it at college. on my blog, i share forecasts and reports on all things fashion. whether you are looking to get ahead of the curve for next year’s styles, or just catch up on what’s current, i am here to supply that.
